Open to democracy activists, scholars, and journalists, Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows travel to Washington, DC to spend five months in residence at the National Endowment for Democracy’s International Forum for Democratic Studies. Fellows receive full funding while they conduct research, network, and reflect on a fellowship project that deepens their understanding of democracy and enhances their ability to promote democratic change.
The Forum is named for Penn Kemble (1941-2005), one of the democracy movement’s most committed activists and strategists. The Forum is an opportunity for mentorship, networking, and education for young professionals and students (rising seniors, graduate students) who share Kemble’s commitment to advancing democracy around the world.
